My name is Santiago Moya, and my lifelong fascination with technology has now become my career pursuit. I have always enjoyed exploring various aspects of technology in my free time, constantly seeking opportunities to learn something new and solve complex problems. The dynamic nature of IT, with its ever-evolving landscape and the need for continuous learning, has drawn me in.
For the past 13 years, I dedicated myself to supporting adults with developmental disabilities in various capacities. From residential programs and vocational settings, training positions, Quality Assurance, and IT support/administration, I have gained valuable experiences. While I cherish the time I spent with everyone I supported, I now feel compelled to venture into new territory and embrace fresh challenges.
Recently, I have found myself in a new IT role that allows me to continue learning and grow professionally. Since joining this position in November of 2022, I have achieved my CompTIA Security+, A+, and Network+ certifications and am studying to complete the CompTIA Linux+ by the end of this year. My current focus lies in immersing myself in Linux, so I'm looking forward to testing what I've learned.
In addition to my new role, I have also began an educational journey at CNM. Pursuing a degree and obtaining further certifications are integral parts of my future plans, as I am committed to expanding my knowledge and skill set in the field of information technology.
